Scholastic book fair nostalgia. Whether it s an old commercial or a book from your past it belongs in r nostalgia. Aug 10 2018 nostalgia is often triggered by something reminding you of a happier time. Wasn t the same and the prices were ridiculous so we usually just donated 10 to the school and then let the kids get books elsewhere.

Plus they hawked a lot of non book crap toys even that shouldn t have been sold in school imo. I know that scholastic book services are still around these days i guess they re more successful than ever what with their exclusive deal on the u s released harry potter books and all. Nostalgia for the scholastic book club circa 60 s 70 s.
